Bob Estes
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. Bob Estes was born in Graham, Texas. His height is 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 180 pounds. He first played golf at age 4 and set sight on Professional Golfers' Association, PGA Tour at age 12. He also serves as host for annual FCA Tom Landry Memorial Golf Tournament in Austin, Texas. In 1993, he held lead briefly during final round of 1993 PGA Championship before finishing T6. He was part of five-man playoff at Buick Southern Open. In 1989 he came close to victory in rookie season when he lost playoff to Mike Hulbert at B.C. Open. In 1997, he was rebounded in earnings in 19 starts, his 25 consecutive rounds. In 1999, he started the season with a T4 at Bob Hope Chrysler Classic and by season's end missed only one cut in 28 starts. His nine top-10s were a career high and for third time in his career finished among top-30 on the Tour money list. In 2000, he fell out of the top-30 on the PGA Tour money list for the first time in two seasons. In 2001, he posted two victories and ended season with six consecutive top-10s to place career-high ninth on money list. He finished in the top 100 on the money list for the 14th time in his career, including each of the last nine years. At the U.S. Open he finished T11, his best effort in the U.S. Open in 11 career starts. Bob Estes was a player who was totally dedicated in his play. He completely believed in hard work. With his hard work and devotion in his play, he has achieved many goals in his overall golf-playing career.
