Bo Van Pelt
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. Bo Van Pelt was the fifth-round draft pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1967 after his collegiate career at Indiana. In 1998, he earned his first Tour card with T17 finish at the 1998 Professional Golfers' Association, PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament. In 1999, he was made only seven cuts in rookie season on the PGA Tour, including a season-best T20 finish at the Bell Canadian Open. In 2000, he finished 62nd on the final money list. In 2004, he was returned to PGA Tour for a third time, the second through the Nationwide Tour money list. There he finished 39th on the money list and qualified for his first trip to the Masters in 2005, posting his first career top-10 on Tour with a T4 at the Buick Invitational. Also he finished T4 at the Booz Allen Classic. He was added a fifth top-10 with a T7 at the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee and shared first-round lead with seven others, tying a Tour record for players sharing the lead through 18 holes. In 2005 at the Shell Houston Open, he was T7 in 13th start of the Tour. He also posted the second consecutive top-10 with a T5 finish at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. He finished T17 at the PGA Championship which was his best finish in the major. Bo Van Pelt was a player who was totally dedicated in his play. He completely believed in hard work. With his hard work and devotion in his play, he has achieved many goals in his overall golf-playing career.
