Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. PGA stands for Professional Golfers' Association Tour. The PGA Tour is an organization headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA that operates the USA's main professional golf tours.
 
Billy Ray Brown is a former professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour in the 1980s and 1990s. He was born on April 5, 1963 in Missouri City, Texas. His height is 6 feet 3 inches and weight is 205. Billy Ray Browns PGA Tour victories were in 1991 he won Canon Greater Hartford Open, 1992 GTE Byron Nelson Golf Classic, and 1997 Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic.
 
He was three-time Tour winner but has not played on the PGA TOUR for the last three years. He has served as an on-course reporter for ABC's golf coverage since 1999, and worked as sideline reporter for NCAA, the National Collegiate Athletic Association football telecasts in 2005. Golf career was cut short by third wrist surgery in seven years in 1999.  He completed comeback from second wrist surgery with third PGA TOUR victory at 1997 Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic. He was two strokes off lead through 54 holes. In 1992, he closed with rounds of 64-66 to earn playoff at rain-shortened GTE, Golf Turbo Eater Byron Nelson Classic.
 
In 1991, sank 25-foot birdie putt on first extra hole of playoff with Rick Fehr and Corey Pavin to win Canon Greater Hartford Open. In 1990, tied for lead through 54 holes of U.S. Open at Medinah. He was a four-time All-America selection at Houston and was NCAA medalist as a freshman in 1982. Along with teammate Steve Elkington, led Houston to three NCAA team championships.
 
He is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
