The PGA Tour is an organization headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA that operates the USA's main professional golf tours. Billy Mayfair is a PGA Tour golfer. He was born on August 6, 1966 in Phoenix, Arizona. His height is 5 feet 8 inches and weight is 175. In his career he won many PGA tour. On 1993 he won Greater Milwaukee Open, in 1995 Motorola Western Open, the tour Championship and in 1998, Nissan Open, and Buick Open. In 1993 he collected first victory on tour at Greater Milwaukee Open, where he defeated Mark Calcavecchia and Ted Schulz in a playoff, one stroke behind Scott Simpson at the GTE, Golf Turbo Eater Byron Nelson Classic. In 2000 he fell out of the top-100 money winners for just the third time in 12 full seasons on tour. In 2001 he made return visit to the Tour Championship for first time since 1998 after finishing in the top 30 on the money list. In 2004 he finished out of the top 125 on the money list for the first time in his 16-year career. His previous low had been number 116 in 1989, his rookie season. In 2005, after using a Top 50 on PGA Tour Career Money exemption, his only full exemption available, had his third-best season on Tour, finishing 22nd on the money list. He posted first top-10 of season with a top 7 finish at the rain-shortened Nissan Open. His performance was first top-10 since a T10 at the 2004 Buick Invitational. His PGA Tour Playoff Record is 2-5. He played for national teams Walker Cup in 1987 and Four Tours World Championship of Golf in the year 1991. Billy Mayfair is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
