Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The Nationwide Tour is one of the nine tours on which Official World Golf Ranking points are available, and one of only two developmental tours that offer ranking points.
 
Tom Carter was born on 20 January 1968 in Abington, Pennsylvania. His height is five foot eleven inch and weighs 190 pounds. He turned professional in the year 1992. He was a member of the Nationwide Tour in 2001-03 and 2005. He was also a member of the PGA, Professional Golfer’s Association Tour for part of 2003 season and all of 2004. He made the cut in nine of 24 starts last season. He finished the 2004 PGA Tour season, with a career best T13 at the Chrysler Classic, one of the three top 25 finishes. He concluded the season with rank 158 on the money list.
 
He is the sixth player in Nationwide Tour history to earn an immediate promotion to the PGA Tour based on victories at the 2003 Samsung Canadian PGA Championship, price Cutter Charity Championship and Alberta Calgary Classic. He finished third in the 2003 final Nationwide Tour money list, with 360,990 dollars. His Nationwide Tour victories include Samsung Canadian PGA Championship in 2003, Price Cutter Charity Championship, and Alberta Calgary Classic. His current year Nationwide Tour best round 65 at round 1, Cox Classic Presented by Chevrolet.
 
Tom Carter is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
