Stiles Mitchell
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. The Nationwide Tour is one of the nine tours on which Official World Golf Ranking points are available, and one of only two developmental tours that offer ranking points.
Stiles Mitchell was born on 10 October 1965 in Augusta, Georgia. His height is six feet two inch and weight 270 pound. He was member of the Nationwide Tour from 1998-2004. He failed to make a cut in four starts during the 2005 season. He made two of eight cuts in 2004, with a T37 at the Samsung Canadian PGA, Professional Golfers Association Championship his best outing.
Stiles Mitchell made the cut in eight of 19 tournaments in 2001 with his best finish coming in his last event of the year, a T3 at the Shreveport Open. He made the cut in five of 20 events in 2000, with his best finish a T12 at the Knoxville Open. His best year came in his rookie season in 1998 when he won the Permian Basin Open for his first career title. He was winner of the 1997 Spencer Communications Classic on the Hooters Tour and named Most Improved Player on 1997 Hooters Tour. He was winner of numerous long drive competitions, including the 1996 master blaster long drive Competition, featuring 24 of the longest drivers in the country.
Stiles Mitchell is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
