Brad Klapprott

Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play.

Nationwide Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S. based PGA, Professional Golfer’s Association Tour and features professional golfers who have either failed to score well at the Qualifying School to earn their PGA Tour card, or who have done so but then failed to win enough money to stay at that level. The Nationwide Tour is one of the nine tours on which Official World Golf Ranking points are available, and one of only two developmental tours that offer ranking points.

Brad Klapprott was a golf player who played nationwide tours. He was born on February 28, 1969 in Keokuk, Iowa. He got his start in golf from his dad at the age of five. His non-golf related jobs include, working the parts department of a Toyota dealership. His 2006 Nationwide Tour grabbed his first top-10 finish of the season by posting all four rounds in the 60s at The Rex Hospital Open, leading to a top 5 finish.

Brad was the member of the Nationwide Tour in 2001. He finished his only full season on Tour number 77 on the money list, with 53,395 US dollars. He made the cut in 11 of 20 starts, with a Tied 3rd at the Hershey Open, his best career finish. His other two career top-10 finishes on Tour came during the 2000 season in his only two events that year, finishing top 7 at both the Ozarks Open and Fort Smith Open in successive weeks. He has also played on the South American Tour, Canadian Tour, Golden Bear Tour and the Grey Goose Gateway Tour. He was winner of the 1992 Big Ten Championship while playing for the University of Iowa.
