Brad Elder
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Nationwide Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S. based PGA, Professional Golfer’s Association Tour, and features professional golfers who have either failed to score well at the Qualifying School to earn their PGA Tour card, or who have done so but then failed to win enough money to stay at that level. The Nationwide Tour is one of the nine tours on which Official World Golf Ranking points are available, and one of only two developmental tours that offer ranking points. Brad Elder was a golf player who played nationwide tours. He was born on March 17, 1975 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His Nationwide Tour Victories was in 1999 where he won Nike Wichita Open, Nike Inland Empire Open. His 2006 Nationwide tour had a hole-in-one during the final round of the Movistar Panama Championship. He was member of the Nationwide Tour in 1999 and 2004 and of the PGA Tour in 2000 to 2003. He had a season-best third-place finish at the rain-shortened Southern Farm Bureau Classic, two strokes behind champion Luke Donald. Brad finished 128th on the money list in second full PGA Tour season in 2001, with 396,967 dollars. He earned his PGA Tour membership for 2000 by finishing 11th on the 1999 Nationwide Tour money list, with 146,263 dollars. He earned his first Nationwide Tour title with a two-stroke win at 1999 Wichita Open. His second victory came at the end of the season at Inland Empire Open. He was winner of the Fred Haskins and Jack Nicklaus Awards as college player of the year. He was member of winning 1997 U.S. Walker Cup team. He loves to watch sports on television. His favorite sport besides golf is hockey. Brad’s superior approach and dedication towards the sport made him surpass the other players of his epoch. However, he gained prominence only after he won the first Nationwide Championship title in his career and became an international celebrity and a symbol of hope to millions.
