Bob Heintz
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Nationwide Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S. based PGA, Professional Golfer’s Association Tour and features professional golfers who have either failed to score well at the Qualifying School to earn their PGA Tour card, or who have done so but then failed to win enough money to stay at that level. The Nationwide Tour is one of the nine tours on which Official World Golf Ranking points are available, and one of only two developmental tours that offer ranking points. Bob Heintz was a golf player who played nationwide tours. He was born on May 1, 1970 in Syosset, New York. From January 1996 through March 1997, he gave up on golf to pursue career as a financial analyst. He list heroes as Jack Nicklaus in golf and former President George Bush in politics. His Nationwide Tour Victories included 1999 Nike Shreveport Open, Nike Tour Championship. He posted his first Tied 10th of the year at the ING, International Network of Golf, New Zealand PGA Championship, with a Tied 10th. He was member of Nationwide Tour in 1994, 1999, 2001 and 2003 to 2004 and of PGA TOUR in 2000, 2002 and 2005. He finished the season Number 171 on the money list, with his lone Tied 10th at the Valero Texas Open. He led the Tour in Putts Per Round, with a 27.67 average. He led PGA TOUR in Putting in 2002, with a record 1.682 mark. He recorded one Tied 10th during his rookie campaign on the 2000 PGA Tour. He was named Player of the Month for April. His victory propelled him to October Player of the Month honors. He was a Medalist at the 1999 U.S. Open sectional qualifier in Atlanta. Bob’s superior approach and dedication towards the sport made him surpass the other players of his epoch. However, he gained prominence only after he won the first Nationwide Championship title in his career and became an international celebrity and a symbol of hope to millions.
