Their total of 59 points was also its lowest since it recorded 48 points in 1977 1978. They never managed to win more than two straight games all season.

The Washington Capitals nicknamed as the Caps played the games and tried to get better, but the progress was slow. The team slid into an eight game skid right away after winning the opener, and the personnel changes started as a result. With the Capitals sitting at 1 to 4 to 1, the team’s Captain Steve Konowalchuk was packaged with a third-round draft pick and dished to the Colorado Avalanche.

The team with all the dedication and devotion in their play has achieved many goals in their overall hockey-playing span. They possess the ability of defeating the opponent easily by giving some extra hard work and efforts.
