NHL, the National Hockey League is a premier professional North American Sports League played in indoor stadiums. It’s divided into two conferences, each comprising of three divisions of ice hockey teams. The league was established in 1917 in Montreal, Quebec and it is composed of 30 teams out of which 24 teams based in U.S. and 6 in Canada. They have a regular season and playoffs leading to the Stanley Cup, which is the NHL Championship final.
 
Zetterberg, Henrik is well known hockey player. He was born on 9th October 1980 in Njurunda, Sweden. His height is six feet with weight 180 pounds. He is positioned as left wing player and plays for Detroit Red Wings team. The 4th choice, 210th overall selection of the Detroit Red Wings in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Zetterberg spent the last five years in Sweden with Timra IK and was named the Swedish Elite League Rookie of the Year in 2001.

A two-time member of Sweden's World Junior team in 2000-2001, Zetterberg was a member of Sweden's 2002 Winter Olympic Team in Salt Lake City, Utah while making the 2002-03 NHL season his first professional season in North America. The runner-up in Calder Trophy voting, Zetterberg led all NHL rookies scoring with 44 points 22-22-44 and was on his way to bettering his totals in sophomore season, before he suffered a broken leg. Although he played a mere 61 games, Zetterberg recorded 43 points 15-28-43. Aside from his World Junior and Olympic experience, Zetterberg is a three-time member of Sweden's World Championship team in 2002, 2003 and 2005 and represented his homeland at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey.
