Wilm, Clarke
NHL, the National Hockey League is a premier professional North American Sports League played in indoor stadiums. It is divided into two conferences, each comprising of three divisions of ice hockey teams. Clarke Wilm was born on 24 October 1976 in Central Butte, Saskatchewan. He is a Canadian ice-hockey centreman who currently plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL. His position in the player is center and he shoots left. His height is 6 feet and his weight is 202 pounds. He was chosen 150th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, while he was starring for the WHL, Western Hockey League's Saskatoon Blades. In 1995-1996, he has returned to junior and scored 49 goals before apprenticing for two seasons with the Saint John Flames in the AHL, American Hockey League. He went on to play four seasons in Calgary before joining the Nashville Predators for the 2002-2003 season. After only one season in Nashville, the former Saskatoon Blade junior was acquired by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the summer of 2003 and went on to spend the majority of the 2003-2004 season with the team's AHL affiliate in Saint John's. In the 2003-2004 season, he has played 10 games for Toronto collecting seven penalty minutes. He was recalled from Saint John's of the American Hockey League on three occasions and made his Maple Leafs debut on January 10 versus New Jersey. He has played 47 games for Saint John's collecting 33 points, 16 goals and 17 assists with 97 penalty minutes. He has finished first on the team in game 4-tie winning goals, second in plus or minus and third in shorthanded goals. He has made his Saint John's debut on October 28 versus Milwaukee. He has scored his first goal of the season on November 5 at Hershey. He has collected his first assist of the season on November 7 at Hamilton. He has also scored two goals on November 8 at Binghamton. Clarke Wilm is a player with amazing playing skills. His performance in each and every game is full of energy and he is active in every game.
