NHL, the National Hockey League is a premier professional North American Sports League played in indoor stadiums. It is divided into two conferences, each comprising of three divisions of ice hockey teams. Jason Williams was born on August 11, 1980 in London, Ontario, Canada. He is a Canadian ice-hockey player, normally playing in the position of centre. His position in the team is at the center. His height is 5 feet 11 inches and his weight is 185 pounds. In 2004-2005, entering in his sixth NHL season, he has played 2004-2005 for Assat Pori in Finland where he tallied 43 points in 43 games, which tied for the 11th best in league. In 2003-2004, he has played 49 games and posted new career high in 7 assists, 13 points and 15 penalty minutes. He has appeared in three playoff games going scoreless and finishing even. In 2002-2003, he has appeared in 16 games for Detroit averaging 10 minutes 42 seconds of ice time per game. He has scored power play goal versus Dallas to post only power play goal of the season and was also his second goal of the year. He has added an assist versus Dallas to post a two point game. He has spent majority of the season in Grand Rapids playing 45 games and finishing fourth overall for the Griffins in scoring. In 2001-2002, he has appeared in 25 games establishing a new career high. He has scored his first career NHL goal versus Toronto. He had his first career two goal game at San Jose. He had played in nine of Detroit's 23 post season games in 2002 and finished playoff minus one and took seven shots on goal. In 2000-2001, he has spent majority of the season playing for Cincinnati appearing in 76 games for the Mighty Ducks. He has finished his season in Cincinnati second among AHL rookies in scoring with a club high 69 points. In 1999-2000, he had his last season with Peterborough as well as spending the previous three years there. After starring with the OHL, Ontario Hockey League Peterborough Petes including his final two junior seasons when he bested the 70 point plateau. Jason Williams is a player who applies his intelligence in his play and is totally devoted in his play. He completely believes in hard work. He is has been totally been aware of the importance of teamwork in the game.
