In the 2001-2002, he has split the season between Belleville and Windsor of the Ontario Hockey League. He has played 28 games for Belleville collecting 40 points, 16 goals and 24 assists with four penalty minutes. He has played 26 games for Windsor collecting 35 points, 14 goals and 21 assists.
