NHL, the National Hockey League is a premier professional North American Sports League played in indoor stadiums. He played in his 600th NHL career game on November 12th although missed 29 games due to injury. In 2001 02, he played in his 500th NHL career game on April 3rd. In 1999 00 he posted his highest point total of 22 since 1997 98 on seven goals and 15 assists and posted his 100th NHL career point on December 6th recording two three-game point streaks. In 1995 96 he led all NHL rookies finishing third among NHL rookies recording eight goals and three assists in last 15 games. He was a member of the Stanley Cup winning Avalanche team and tallied first NHL playoff goal on April 22nd.
 
Stephane Yelle is remembered as a powerful skater with a lethal shot who back-checked responsibly and played the game cleanly. He, with all his dedication and devotion in his play has achieved many goals in his overall hockey-playing career. He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by giving some extra hard work and efforts.
