Nathan Oystrick
NHL, the National Hockey League is a premier professional North American Sports League played in indoor stadiums. Nathan Oystrick is NHL player who is currently playing with Atlanta Thrashers team on Left Defenseman position. He was born on December 17, 1982 in Regina, Saskatchewan. His height is five foot eleven inches and weight is 195 pounds.He is selected by Atlanta in the seventh round, 198th overall, of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
In 2004-05, he recorded 20 points and 87 penalty minutes in career-best 40 games with Northern Michigan CCHA, Central Collegiate Hockey Association's. He shared ninth among CCHA defensemen, topped club's blue liners and was seventh on team in points. In 2005-06, season he topped Northern Michigan defensemen, shared fifth on club, ranked sixth among CCHA blue liners and shared 12th among all NCAA, National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I defensemen with 29 points in 38 games and led teams blue liners. He was sixth overall and shared fourth among CCHA blue liners and was tied for ninth among Division I blue liners in goals. He set career highs in goals and points and matched career best in assists. He shared 10th on Wildcats with plus-two rating. His regular season total statistics included 39 GP games played, 8 G goals, 20 A assists, 28 pts points and 98 PIM penalty minutes.
He finished his career with plus-37 rating, including plus ratings for all four collegiate seasons He was named 2005-06 CCHA Central Collegiate Hockey Association's. He was among three finalists for 2005-06 CCHA Best Defensive Defenseman . He was selected for 2005-06 CCHA Preseason All-Conference Team and winner of 2004-05 CCHA Defensive Defenseman award and was also named to 2004-05 CCHA All Conference First Team.
