NHL, the National Hockey League is a premier professional North American Sports League played in indoor stadiums. It’s divided into two conferences, each comprising of three divisions of ice hockey teams. 
 
Jan Hejda is born June 18th, 1978 in Prague, Czechoslovakia is a part of the Czech Republic. He is a National Hockey League defenceman presently playing for the Edmonton Oilers. His height is 6 feet 3 inches and his weight is 209 pounds. Hejda was origianally selected in the 4th round, 106th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres. His NHL team name is Edmonton Oilers. He played in six seasons with Slavia Praha of the Czech league, two seasons with Moscow, and one season with Mytishi Khimik. In July 2006, Hejda was traded to the Oilers by the Sabres in exchange for a seventh round draft pick. He then signed a one year contract with the Oilers in the same week.
 
Hejda scored his first goal of the season and was even with one shot at Carolina. He scored his second goal of the season and added an assist and was plus two with double shots against Saint Louis. He scored his third goal of the season and was minus one with one shot against Philadelphia. Hejda scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season and was plus two with four shots against Pittsburgh. He added an assist and even was plus one with one shot at Los Angeles. Hejda tallied an assist and even was plus one with one shot against Nashville. He scored a sixth goal of the season and added an assist and was plus two with three shots against New Jersey. He added an assist and was plus one with no shots.
 
Jan Hejda is a powerful skater with a lethal shot who back-checked responsibly and played the game cleanly. He, with all his dedication and devotion in his play has achieved many goals in his overall hockey-playing career. He has the ability of defeating the opponent easily by giving some extra hard work and efforts.
