NHL, the National Hockey League is a premier professional North American Sports League played in indoor stadiums. It’s divided into two conferences, each comprising of three divisions of ice hockey teams. 

Jan Bulis was born on March 18th, 1978 in Pardubice, Czechoslovakia. He is a Czech professional hockey winger and he was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. His height is 6 feet and weight is 194 pounds. Jan’s position is Center and he shoots left. He starred on his local junior club prior to heading to Canada to follow his dream of playing in the NHL. In 1994, he averaged one point per game for the Kelowna Spartans of the BCJHL, British Columbia Junior Hockey League. Bulis who was chosen 43rd overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, returned to the junior club for one last year in 1996.
 
The talented Bulis showed glimpses of his skill during 48 games as a rookie in 1997. He enhanced his overall game in the next two years but Washington had loads of skilled forwards. Before the trade deadline in March 2001, Bulis was part of the package sent to the Montreal Canadiens for veteran Trevor Linden. After joining Montreal in 2001 Bulis' confidence grew and he established himself as one of the young talents in the league. In 2003, Bulis played his 400th NHL game. He was traded from the Washington Capitals along with Richard Zedník and a first round pick to the Montreal Canadiens for Dainius Zubrus, Trevor Linden and a second round draft pick.

During the 2004 NHL lockout, Bulis played for Pardubice in the Czech Republic Elite League. He scored 24 goals and had 25 assists in 45 games played. So far, Bulis' best season in the NHL was in the 2005 season with Montreal where he had a score of 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points in 73 games. In December 2005, Bulis was named to the Czech national ice hockey team for the forthcoming 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. It was the first time that Bulis played for the Czech National Team. He stunned all of his fans with his mind boggling play at all his games and etched it in their hearts.
