LPGA, Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
 
Weiss, Karen was born on 15 March 1966 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her height is 5 foot 3 inches. Her career-best finish was T3 and career-lowest round was 63. She has 2 career holes-in-one and 10 international victories. She captured four Minnesota State Amateur titles including three as an individual and one team event from 1988 to 1990. While competing for the University of Minnesota golf team, she was named to the Big Ten All-Conference Team and was selected as the University of Minnesota golf team’s MVP, Most Valuable Player in 1989.
 
In 1993, she qualified for the Tour by tying for 32nd at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 1994 season. In 1995, her top finish was a tie for seventh at the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship and recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one during the first round of the Youngstown-Warren LPGA Classic. In 1997, her best finish was a tie for fourth at the LPGA Corning Classic.
 
In 2001, her best finish was a tie for third at The Office Depot and carded a career-low 63 in the final round of the Standard Register PING. In 2002, her best finish was a tie for 12th at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship presented by AIG, her careerbest finish in a major.
 
The desire to use her talents for the Glory and Honor of her God and Country propelled her in an attempt to excel at the highest level of sporting achievement to inspire future generations of her countrymen to do the same upholding the highest standards of patriotic fervor.
