The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
 
Webb, Karrie was born on 21st December 1974 in Queensland, Australia. Her height is 5 foot 6 inches. Her career victories were 30 in 2004 and she won 6 majors and career-low round was 61. Her LPGA career holes-in-one are 2 and playoff record is 3 to 4 with 6 international victories. Webb was the 1994 Australian Stroke Play champion and represented Australia in international competition six times from 1992 to 1994.
 
In 1995, she won the Weetabix Women’s British Open before she became a member of the LPGA Tour and earned rookie of the year honors on the Women Professional Golfers’ European Tour, WPGET and qualified for the LPGA Tour on her first attempt after she finished second at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. In 2001, she effectively defended her U.S. Women’s Open title and was the only player to finish under par for the tournament and scored her two-stroke victory at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship presented by AIG.
 
Her LPGA victories include the 1995 Weetabix Women’s British Open, the 2000 Office Depot, Australian Ladies Masters, LPGA Takefuj Classic, 2001 U.S. Women’s Open, McDonald’s LPGA Championship presented by AIG, Tyco and ADT Championship and 2002 Wegmans Rochester LPGA. Her awards include 2000 Rolex Player of the Year, Vare Trophy and Crowne Plaza Achievement Award.
