Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for atleast five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States. Giulia Sergas, a LPGA golf player was born on 26th December 1979, in Trieste, Italy. Her height is 5 foot 9 inches. Her career-best finish is T2, and career-low round is 65. Giulia Sergas was the 1998 European Amateur champion. In 1996 and 1998, she was a member of the runner-up World Cup Teams. In 2004, she posted a career-best finish at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, where she tied for second and recorded a career-low 65 during the first round. She tied for fifth at the Weetabix Women’s British Open. In 2003, her best finish of season was a tie for 28th at the Asahi Ryokuken International Championship at Mount Vintage. In 2002, her best finish was a tie for 28th at both the Wendy’s Championship for Children at Tartan Fields and First Union Betsy King Classic and returned to the LPGA final qualifying tournament, where she finished third to earn exempt status for the 2003 season. In 2001, she tied for 31st at the LPGA final qualifying tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2002 season. From 2000-2002, she competed on the Evian LET, Ladies European Tour where her career-best finish was a tie for third at the 2001 Ladies French Open. In 2000, she earned the Bill Johnson Rookie of the Year award as the leading rookie on the LET Order of Merit. Giulia Sergas with all her dedication and devotion in her play achieved many goals in her overall golf career. She had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. She never lost hope in herself and always fought hard to achieve her goal.
