Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
 
Sue Roberts was born on 22 June 1948 in Oak Park, Illinois. Her lowest career round is 66 and 4 tour victories. Sue began playing golf at age 11, taught by Nick Scarpitta in Columbus, Ohio, and she participated in many local and state amateur events. She qualified for the 1967 Trans-Mississippi Amateur. The three years stretch starting in 1974 produced Sue's best golf to date as she won more than $20000 and at least one tournament in each year.

She slipped from that standard in 1977, but has rebounded the past two years to win more than $10000 in each. Her best finish in 1979 was a tie for tenth in the Barth Classic. Sue Roberts is a player known for her mental toughness owing to which many of her famous matches went the distance. Her superior approach and dedication to the game made her stand out from the crowd.
