Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour, which is an American organization for female professional golfers headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida. Ridgeway Angie was born on 11 February 1965, in Wabash, Indiana. Her height is 5 feet 8 inches. She started playing golf at the age of 7. Ridgeway played collegiate golf at Appalachian State University, where she won the 1986 JMU Invitational and was runner-up at the 1986 Longwood Invitational. In 2000, her best finish was a tie for 10th position at the State Farm Rail Classic, where she earned a spot in the field through the Monday qualifier. In 1998, her best finish of the season was a tie for 28th at the City of Hope Myrtle Beach Classic. She returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament and gained exempt status for the 1999 season. In 1997, she posted a career-best finish with a tie for fifth at the Welch’s Championship. She returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament and gained exempt status for 1998. In 1996, she returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament and earned exempt status for the 1997 season. In 1993, her best finish was a tie for the 9th position in the Lady Keystone Open and the ShopRite LPGA Classic as well. She recorded her first career hole-in-one during the second round of the Sara Lee Classic. In 1992 her best finish was a tie for the eighth position at the Sara Lee Classic and the Rail Charity Golf Classic. She carded a career low 64 during the first round of the SEGA Women’s Championship. Prior to joining the LPGA Tour, she played on the Futures Tour, where she won four times. With all her dedication and devotion in her play, Ridgeway achieved many goals in her overall professional golf career. She had the ability of reaching the pinnacle easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. She never lost hope in herself and always fought hard to achieve her goal.
