LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
 
Walker, Colleen was born on 16 August 1956 in Jacksonville, Florida. She ranks 44 in her career earnings and her playoff record is 1 to 0. She completed her education in Florida State University. In her professional career, in 1982, she qualified for the Tour in January by winning the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status and best finish of her rookie season was a tie for 29th at the Rail Charity Golf Classic. In 1984, her top finish was a tie for ninth at both the Elizabeth Arden Classic and MasterCard International Pro-Am and recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one during the United Virginia Bank Classic. In 1991, she won the Lady Keystone Open for her fourth career title and totaled 11 top-10 finishes.
 
Walker was named as the 1974 Palm Beach Post Athlete and Player of the Year for her amateur performance. After winning the All-State Florida Golf Award in 1976, she went on to gain Most Valuable Player, the MVP, honors at Florida State University in 1977-78. The desire to use her talents for the glory and honor of her God and Country propelled her in an attempt to excel at the highest level of sporting achievement to inspire future generations of her countrymen to do the same upholding the highest standards of patriotic fervor.
