The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
 
Debbie Steinbach, LPGA player was born on January 28, 1953, in Long Beach, CA. Her height is five foot three inches. She joined LPGA in July, 1975. Steinbach captured in only five events in 1988 and recorded her best finish of a tie for 45th place at the 1979 Florida Lady Citrus Open in Orlando, Florida. She has worked as a commentator for several golf broadcasts and now demonstrates golf tips for women on national cable television. She also conducts numerous golf clinics throughout the country.
 
She is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped her through out her professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
