LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
 
Nagl, Miriam was born on 22nd January 1981 in Curitiba, Brazil. Nagl, who lived in Germany from the age of 8 to 16, recorded several victories in the German Junior Championships and was the runner-up at the British Girl Championship from 1997-99. She was a runner-up at the World Team Amateur Championship in 1998. She played on the American Junior Golf Association that is AJGA circuit and won the first tournament she entered. While attending Arizona State University, she won the 1999 NCAA, National Collegiate Athletic Association Fall Preview and the 2000 NCAA West Regional. She was named the 2000 NCAA Freshman of the Year and was a First-Team All-American in 2000.
 
In March 20001 she turned professional and began competing on the SBC Futures Tour, where she recorded 10 top-10 finishes and finished 10th on the SBC Futures Tour money list In 2002, she won the Grand Rapids Futures Classic and the Capital Region Futures Classic on the Futures Tour; earned exempt status for the 2003 LPGA Tour season by virtue of her third-place finish on the Futures Tour season-ending money list. In 2003, her best finish was a tie for 10th at the John Q. Hammons Hotel Classic and also tied for 11th at the ShopRite LPGA Classic.
 
In 2004, she tied her career-low 66 during the first round of the Longs Drugs Challenge She recorded her season best finish at the LPGA Takefuji Classic and the ShopRite LPGA Classic, tying for 27th at both events. Tied for 25th at the LPGA Corning Classic and for 28th at the Weetabix Women’s British Open. She competed in six events on the Robe di Kappa Ladies European Tour LET and posted two top-10 finishes.
 
Nagl's superior approach and dedication towards the sport made her surpass the other players of her epoch and became an international celebrity and a symbol of hope to millions.
