LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States. Sharron Moran, a professional female golfer in the LPGA was born on 28th October, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and was a medalist in the 1962 Illinois State Medal championship and a semi-finalist in the 1966 Western Amateur. She was a co-winner of the 1967 International Four-Ball and won an Aurora City title in 1957, 1958 and 1959 along with a Batavia City title in 1957. She was a low amateur in four LPGA events in 1966. Sharron joined the Tour in February of 1967 on Valentine's Day and went on to a pair of 9th places and Rookie-of-the-Year honors. Her best effort in eleven years is at fourth place for two times. Her total career earnings sum up to 31,377 dollars and her lowest career round remains at 67.
