LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States. Lopez, Nancy was born on 6th January 1951 in Torrance, California. With a height of five feet five inch, she has total 48 LPGA victories from 1978 to 1988. In 1988, she won three tournaments and was in three sudden-death playoffs. She defeated Marta Figueras-Dotti at the Ai Star-Centinela Hospital Classic and lost to Juli Inkster at the Crestar Classic and lost to Mei-Chi Cheng at the Rochester International. She became the fourth player in LPGA history to cross the 2 million dollars mark in career earnings. She also captured Rolex Player of the Year honors for the fourth time. In 1989, she enjoyed her most successful financial season, earning 487,153 dollars and registering three victories, including the Mazda LPGA Championship. In 1994, her best finish was a tie for second at the Chrysler-Plymouth Tournament of Champions and crossed the 4 million dollars mark in career earnings at the McCall’s LPGA Classic at Stratton Mountain. In 1997, she won her 48th career title at the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship with rounds of 69-68-69-69. She became the first player to record four rounds in the 60s at the U.S. Women’s Open. With all her dedication and devotion in her play, Austin, Debbie achieved many goals in her overall professional golf career. She had the ability of reaching the pinnacle easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. She never lost hope in herself and always fought hard to achieve her goal.
