LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
 
Lindley, Leta was born on 1st June 1972 in Phoenix, Arizona. With a height of five feet four inch, Lindley played collegiate golf at the University of Arizona, where she was a four-time All-American, three-time Academic All-American, set an NCAA, National Collegiate Athletic Association, record for lowest 54-hole score and finished third at the 1993 NCAA Championship. In addition, she was the medalist at the 1994 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship.
 
She turned professional in the summer 1994 and tied for 52nd position at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 1995 season. In 1996, she tied for 12th position at the Safeway LPGA Golf Championship for her best finish of the season. In 1997 she posted a career-best finish with a second place at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship, where she lost to Chris Johnson on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff. She recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one during the second round of the First Bank Presents the Edina Realty LPGA Classic. In 1998 she tied for fourth at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic for her best finish of the season. In 1999, her best finish was a tie for second at the City of Hope Myrtle Beach Classic. She also recorded her second LPGA career hole-in-one during the second round of the Sunrise Hawaiian Ladies Open.
 
With all her dedication and devotion in her play, Lindley achieved many goals in her overall professional golf career. She had the ability of reaching the pinnacle easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. She never lost hope in herself and always fought hard to achieve her goal.
