Lincicome, Brittany
LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States. Lincicome, Brittany was born on 19th September 1985 in St. Petersburg, Florida. With a height of five feet ten inch, Lincicome had a stellar amateur career that began with a tournament win at the age of 9. She participated in more than 100 amateur events, winning 60 percent of the time. Lincicome was a star on American Junior Golf Association, AJGA, circuit, winning the event at Chateu Elan twice in the year 2001 and 2003 and the Avilla Junior Classic in 2003. In 2004, she won the Harder Hall Invitational and advanced to the round of 16 at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship. Lincicome competed in the 2004 U.S. Women’s Open conducted by the USGA, United States Golf Association and led after the first round before finishing at the 55th position. She also played in the State Farm Classic in 2004 as an amateur, finishing in a tie for 66th. She turned professional in October 2004 and tied for the 20th position at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament presented by American Airlines to earn exempt status for the 2005 LPGA Tour season. She recorded a career-best finish at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, where she tied for 18th position, tying her career-low 66 during the second round. She also shot a career-low 66 during the third round of the Safeway International presented by Coca-Cola and went on to tie for the 20th position. With all her dedication and devotion in her play, Lincicome achieved many goals in her overall professional golf career. She had the ability of reaching the pinnacle easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. She never lost hope in herself and always fought hard to achieve her goal.
