Golf is an outdoor sport, originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. LPGA, which stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour, is an American organization for elite female Professional Golfers, headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States of America. It was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women to conduct the Tour's events, by running a series of weekly golf tournaments around the world.
 
Jen Hanna was born on the 4th of August 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America and currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina, United States of America. She is a 5 foot 5 inch Professional Ladies Golfer. Her career earning rank is 330 for 189,903 US dollars. In 2004, she recorded a season-best finish at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic with a tie for 11th place; returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament presented by American Airlines, where she tied for 37th to earn a non-exempt status for the 2005 season.
 
In 2003, she received the Budget Service Award in recognition of her involvement with LPGA-USGA Girls Golf. She returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she tied for 42nd to retain non-exempt status for the 2004 season. In 2002, she returned to the LPGA final qualifying Tournament, where she tied for 51st to retain her non-exempt status for the 2003 season. In 2001, she carded a career-low 63 during the opening round of the Welch’s/Circle K Championship; best finish was a tie for ninth at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic; recorded a double-eagle during the second round of the Sybase Big Apple Classic presented by Golf Magazine.
 
As an amateur, she was a member of the Furman University golf team, Hanna was a First-Team All-American and Southern Conference champion in 1998. She was also named Southern Conference Player of the Year in 1996 and 1998. With 20 top-10 finishes, including 14 in the top five, Hanna was named 1998 Furman Female Athlete of the Year.
 
She started playing golf at the age of 9. She was inducted into the Furman University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2003. She was the 2002-2003 spokeswoman for the LPGA-USGA, United States Golf Association, Girls golf program. In 2005, she named head coach of the Furman University women’s golf team, only the fifth head coach in the 33-year history of the program.
