Hanna, Allison
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play.
LPGA, Ladies Professional Golf Association is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
Hanna, Allison, a LPGA player was one of the LPGA golf players. She was born on 1st March 1982, in Portland, Oregon. Her height is five foot nine inches. In 2005, she recorded a career-best tie for 28th at the Safeway Classic Presented by Pepsi, where she carded a career low 71 in both the first and second rounds. She competed in 12 events on the Futures Tour, where her best finish was a tie for third at the Northwest Indiana Futures Golf Classic. She returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament resented by American Airlines, where she tied for 14th to earn exempt status for the 2006 season.
In 2004, she turned professional in May and began competing on the Futures Tour, where she posted top three finishes, she placed 13th on the season-ending money list and won the Ostop award for the best overall statistics. She tied for 32nd at the U.S. Women’s Open conducted by the USGA, United States Golf Association and Safeway Classic presented by Pepsi. She tied for 65th at the LPGA final qualifying tournament presented by American Airlines to earn non-exempt status for the 2005 season.
She started playing golf at the age of 4. Her hobbies include playing basketball, music, dancing, reading and movies. She is one of the best known golf players. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence have helped her through out her professional career.
