The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.

Han, Hee-Won, a LPGA player was born on 10th June 1978, in Seoul, Korea. Her height is five foot seven inches. In 2005, she won her fourth career title at the Office Depot Championship at Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles. She followed her win with a runner-up finish at the Longs Drugs Challenge. He tied for third at the MasterCard Classic honoring Alejo Peralta and the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic presented by Kroger. She tied for fourth at the LPGA Corning Classic, where she carded a career-low 62 during the third round to tie an LPGA record for the lowest third round in history. She crossed the 3 million dollars mark in career earnings with a tie for 18th at the Wegmans Rochester LPGA.
 
In 2004, she won her third career title at the Safeway Classic Presented by Pepsi, where she defeated Lorie Kane on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff. In 2003, she became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the Sybase Big Apple Classic presented by Lincoln Mercury, an event in which she finished second. She also avenged a second-place finish from 2002 with a three-hole, sudden-death playoff win over Wendy Ward at the Wendy’s Championship for Children at Tartan Fields. She finished second to Dorothy Delasin at the Mobile LPGA Tournament of Championship after an onehole playoff and crossed the 1 million dollars mark in career earnings after the Wegmans Rochester LPGA.

She is a player known for her mental toughness owing to which many of her famous matches went the distance. Her superior approach and dedication to the game made her stand out from the crowd.
