Hall, Kim
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play.
LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
Hall, Kim a LPGA player was born on 27th August 1981 in San Antonio, Texas. Her height is five foot three inches. In 2005, she tied for 39th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament presented by American Airlines to earn nonexempt status for the 2006 LPGA Tour season. In 2004, she competed on the Futures Tour and turned professional in July 2003. Hall was the 1997 South Texas PGA, Professional Golfers Association Junior Player of the year and was a four-time All-American on the American Junior Golf Association AJGA circuit from 1996 to 99. She recorded 12 top-10 finishes, including one win on the AJGA. In 1997, Hall was featured in Sports Illustratied’s Faces in the Crowd section. Hall played collegiate golf at Stanford University from 1999 to 2003 and was named to the All-Pac-10 Team three times in 1999 and 2000, 2001 and 2003. She was also a two-time Stanford women’s golf team Most Valuable Player. She started playing golf at the age of 5. She is one of the best known golf players. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence have helped her through out her professional career.
