Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour, LPGA is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.
 
Joan Delk is a professional LPGA golfer. She was joined LPGA in 1986 played only 1 tournament. She was born on August 15, 1961 in Tampa, Florida. Her height is 5 foot 3 inches.  She represents Callaway Golf, Edisto Beach Golf Club in Edisto Beach, South Carolina. She qualified for three U.S. Women’s Opens as an amateur and recorded a hole-in-one during the 1983 U.S. Women’s Open.
 
In 1986, at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, she tied 37th to retain non-exempt status for the 1987 season. In 1987, she finished 20th at the Boston Five Classic.  In 1988,  she posted a career-best tie for seventh at the Orient Leasing Hawaiian Ladies Open. In 1989, she finished eighth at the Sara Lee Classic, where she fired a career-low 66 in the final round.  In 1990, she finished 23rd at the Crestar Classic. In 1991, she finished 20th at the Northgate Computer Classic. 
 
Her junior golf achievements were combined in Florida, where she lived for 23 years before moving to Georgia. She won the Florida State Junior Championship in 1979 and the Florida Women’s State Championship in 1984.
 
Joan Delk with all her dedication and devotion in her play achieved many goals in her overall athletic career. She had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. She never lost hope in herself and always fought hard to achieve her goal. She is still remembered as one of the best athletes in the history of golf.
