LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. LPGA, in is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida runs a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world from February to November each year. The LPGA was founded in 1950 by a group of 13 women. LPGA Tour's events are held in the United States.



 


Chung Il Mi was born on 15 January 1972 in Pusan, South Korea. Her rookie year was 2004. Her career best finish is T3 and career-low round is 66. Her career earnings, rank are $227,843 and 311 respectively with 8 International victories. She completed her education from Ewha Women’s University.



 


In 1995, she turned professional in May and joined the Korea LPGA, where she is an eight-time winner. In 2003, she tied for 17th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 2004 season. In 2004, she returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament presented by American Airlines, where she tied for 12th to earn exempt status for the 2005 season.



 


In 2005, she posted a career-best finish at the BMO Financial Group Canadian Women’s Open, where she tied for third. She tied for 10th at the CJ Nine Bridges Classic presented by Sports Today. She carded a career-low 66 during the first round of the Mizuno Classic, where she tied for 20th. In 2005 Stats, Chung was a member of the Korean National Team for five years and won the 1993 Korean Ladies Open.Chung Il Mi with all her dedication and commitment in her play has achieved many goals in her overall playing career.
