Niclas Havelid was born on April 12, 1973 in Enköping, Sweden. He is a professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for the Atlanta Thrashers. His height is 6 feet and his weight is 200 pounds. He is a Left shooter and his position is Defence. Havelid was drafted 83rd overall by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the 1999 NHL, National Hockey League Entry Draft.
 
Niclas Havelid, with all his dedication and devotion in his play achieved many goals in his overall athletic career. He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. He never lost hope in him self and always fought hard to achieve his goal. He is still remembered as one of the best athletes in the history of Olympics.
