The Olympic Games, or Olympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Though the first ancient games were held in 776 B.C, the modern games started from 1896. The unity of the 5 continents is shown on the Olympic flag by five colorful intertwined rings of red, blue, green, yellow, and black, created by Baron Pierre de Coubertin to represent at least one color of the participating country’s national flag.
 
Natalya Lisovskaya was born on July 16, 1962. She is a former Soviet athlete who competed mainly in the shot put. Lisovskaya trained at Spartak in Moscow. She competed for the USSR, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in the 1988 Summer Olympics held in Seoul, South Korea where she won the gold medal. Natalya Lisovskaya won many medals such as Gold in the 1988 Seoul Shot Put, Gold in the 1987 Rome Shot Put, Silver in the 1991 Tokyo Shot Put, and Silver on 1990 in Split Shot Put.
 
Natalya never lost hope in herself and always strived hard to achieve her ambition. She possessed the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. With all her perseverance and superior approach towards the sport, Natalya achieved many aspirations in her overall athletic career.
