Natalia Dorado Gómez was born on February 25, 1967 in Madrid. She is a former field hockey player from Spain, who was a member of the team that won a gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics on home soil in Barcelona. She also competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where Spain finished in 8th and last position.
 
Natalia’s superior approach and dedication towards the sport made her surpass the other players of her epoch. However, she gained prominence only after winning the gold medal in the Olympic events and became an international celebrity and a symbol of hope to millions.
