Michael McCann
The Olympic Games, or Olympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Michael McCann, an OAM, Order of Australia Medal winner, was born on the 26th of September 1977. He is a field hockey player from Australia, who won the golden medal with the Men's National Team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. His Position is that of a Striker. His AHL, Australian Hockey League, Team name is NSW, New South Wales, Waratahs. His Occupation is in Hotel Management. He had a career high 2004 with the Athens Olympic Games Hockey gold medal. He was included in the National Squad in 2001 after an impressive national league season netted him the top goal scorer's award. McCann, nicknamed Stiffler, made his international debut at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in 2001. Michael is one of the team's most prolific scorers has become a focal point for the Kookaburras attack and has improved consistently since. He has a strong presence in the attacking circle and good spatial awareness.
