Tom Kite was born on December 9, 1949 in McKinney, Texas. His height is five foot nine inches and his weight is 170 pounds. His full name is Thomas Oliver J Kite. His swings to the right and he has completed 34 years in his professional career. His PGA, Professional Golfers Association Tour victories include Bicentennial Golf Classic in 1976, B.C. Open in 1978, American Motors Inverrary Classic in 1981, Bay Hill Classic in 1982, Bing Crosby National Pro-Am in 1983, Doral-Eastern Open in 1984, Mony Tournament of Champions in 1985, Western Open in 1986, Kemper Open in 1987 and Nestle Invitational in 1989.
 
In his 2006 Champion’s Tour he cruised to an easy five-stroke victory over Gil Morgan at the Classic and the process ended a victory drought of just over 19 months 30 events. His win at Valencia was his 10th on Tour in the state of California, sixth on the PGA tour, fourth on the Champions Tour and third in the Los Angeles area. He moved into the lead with an 8 under 64 in the second round that matched the course record.
 
Tom Kite is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
