He has achieved a total of 19 victories while on tour as an amateur, that include the 1971 Pacific-8 Conference Individual Championship, the 1972, 1978, 1980, 1983, 1990, 1993, 1996, 2000 and 2001 Idaho State Amateur, the 1987, 1988 and 1989 China Trust Cup, the 1990, 1991, 1993, 1995 and 1998 Idaho Men's Match-Play Championship, the 1997 PNGA, Pacific Northwest Golf Association and Men's Master-40 Amateur Championship.
 
His current year Champions Tour money and position are 49,414 US dollars and 100th respectively. His current year best Champions Tour finish is a Tied 31st at the Greater Kansas City Golf Classic. His current year Champions Tour best round is of 69 at Round 3 during the 3M, Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing, Championship and his best Champions Tour Finish is a Tied 22nd at the 2003  3M Championship.
 
In 2005, he earned fully-exempt status for 2006 in his fourth trip to the National Qualifying Tournament. He finished Tied 4th at the PGA of Southern California Golf Club, with a six-round total of 2-over 432. He had started the final round tied for the lead with Massy Kuramoto. He advanced through the regional qualifier at the same site, by being Tied 9th at the PGA of Southern California Golf Club.
 
Though he joined the Professional ranks much later than some of its younger stars, his sheer determination and purpose of will, to excel in that which he puts his heart and mind to and the self-belief that one day his star too will shine just as it did in his amateur days, will see him through.
