Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for atleast five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. The Tour Championship is the final event of golf's PGA Tour season. The top 30 money winners on the PGA Tour after the penultimate event qualify for the Championship, which is one of the richest tournaments on the tour. Jack William Nicklaus was born on January 21, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio. In 1990 he played in just four official Champions Tour events but won twice, finished second once and T3 in his only other tournament. In 1995 he defeated Isao Aoki in a playoff to win his third Tradition title and, at the time, he became only the fifth man to win the same tournament three times. In January 1999 he underwent hip replacement surgery in and played in only three official tournaments on the Champions Tour. In 2002 he made just two official appearances due to persistent lower back pain. In April he played at The Countrywide Tradition and finished 69th. His Lone appearance on the PGA Professional Golf’s Association TOUR was at The Memorial Tournament where he made the cut and finished 71st. He carded three consecutive rounds in the 60s at Hualalai, a first in a 54-hole Champions Tour event for him. He became the second-oldest player to make a cut on the PGA TOUR, when he finished T63 at the Memorial. He captained the victorious United States team in The Presidents Cup. His International Victories are 2000 Hyundai Team Matches with Tom Watson, 2005 Wendy's Champions Skins Game. And his Champions Tour Victories are , In 1990 The Tradition at Desert Mountain, Mazda SENIOR TOURNAMENT PLAYERS Championship, in 1991 The Tradition at Desert Mountain, PGA Seniors' Championship, and U.S. Senior Open. Jack was one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players.
