Nicolette Hellemans
The Olympic Games, or Olympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Nicolette Hellemans was born on November 30, 1961 in Groningen and is a former international rower from the Netherlands, who won the silver medal in the Women's Double Sculls at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, partnering with her older sister Greet.
At the same tournament Hellemans at her second Olympic appearance was also a member of the bronze winning team in the Women's Eights, along with Marieke van Drogenbroek, Lynda Cornet, Harriet van Ettekoven, Greet Hellemans, Martha Laurijsen, Catharina Neelissen, Anne Quist, and Wiljon Vaandrager.
Nicolette Hellemans with all her dedication and devotion in her play achieved many goals in her overall athletic career. She had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. She never lost hope in herself and always fought hard to achieve her goal. She is still remembered as one of the best athletes in the history of Olympics.
