Naser Al Shami was born on 27th of June, 1982 and is a Syrian boxer who competed in the Olympic events. He mainly participated in the heavyweight 91 kilogram category at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens and won a bronze medal. This feat made him an international celebrity and symbol of hope to millions.
 
Naser Al Shami, with all his perseverance and superior approach towards the sport, accomplished many aspirations in his overall athletic career. He possesses the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra efforts. He never lost hope in himself and always strived hard to accomplish his ambition.
