The Olympic Games, or Olympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Vassili Rotchev was born on October 23, 1980. He is a Russian cross-country skier who has competed since 2000. He won the bronze medal in the Team Sprint event at the 2006 Winter Olympics at Turin. Rotchev won two medals at the 2005 Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold in the Sprint and a bronze in the 4 by 10 kilometers relay. He has won 13 events in cross country skiing since 2002.
 
Vassili never lost hope in himself and always strived hard to achieve his ambition. He possessed the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. With all his perseverance and superior approach towards the sport, achieved many aspirations in his overall athletic career.
