Cristian Bejarano

Cristian Bejarano Benitez was born July 25, 1981 in Tijuana, Baja California and is a boxer from Mexico, who won a bronze medal at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada. Nicknamed El Diablo, he represented his native country at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, where he captured the bronze medal in the lightweight division. A year later he made his professional debut.
He is a player known for his mental toughness owing to which many of his famous matches went the distance. His superior approach and dedication to the game made his stand out from the crowd.
