Chris Sande
The Olympic Games, or Olympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Though the first ancient games were held in 776 B.C, the modern games started from 1896.The unity of the 5 continents is shown on the Olympic flag by five colorful intertwined rings of red, blue, green, yellow, and black, created by Baron Pierre de Coubertin to represent atleast one color of the participating country’s national flag. Christian Chris Joseph Sande was born February 10, 1964 and is a boxer from Kenya, who won the bronze medal in the Middleweight division at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. He shared the podium with Pakistan's Hussain Shah Syed. Sande turned professional in 1989 and had limited success. He was a journeyman fighter best known for his losses against Robert Allen, Chris Johnson, Tim Littles, Luis Ramon Campas and Alejandro Garcia. Sande retired in 2001 with a record of 19-19-2.
He is a player known for his mental toughness owing to which many of his famous matches went the distance. His superior approach and dedication to the game made his stand out from the crowd.
