Anna Rogowska was born on May 21, 1981 in Gdynia, Poland. She is a Polish athlete competing in pole vault. She has won the bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics. Rogowska narrowly had defeated Monika Pyrek, another pole vaulter from Gdynia. Early in the year of 2005, she had won the silver medal in the European Indoor Championships. On July 22, 2005 in London, she had achieved a personal best with 4.80 meter, which was also the Polish record. Rogowska was amongst the contenders for a medal in the 2005 World Championships in Athletics. She has finished 6th, however, jumping only 4.35 meter under challenging weather conditions.
 
On August 26, 2005, she had achieved another personal best with 4.83 meter. This was on the Memorial van Damme. She also has the Polish indoor record of 4.80 meter, set on 5 March 2006. Anna Rogowska is an athlete who totally believes in hard work. She, with all her dedication and devotion in her play, has achieved many goals in her overall career.
